Multi Faceted Multi Use Garage

Poppy Court initial proposed designs. Client's asked for a large boat garage to be built on their property and adjoining their residence. What was originally a perfectly square building, asking a long list of requirements, this was quite the design challenge. Clients wanted a log cabin, that blended with their traditional residence, a game room/tv room for hanging out, a library, a double garage, one large enough to fit a 30' boat, a workshop, tons of storage, and a very important home gym. Altering the exterior shape to fit into the constraints of the concrete pad was the first priority. Adding architectural interest and setting this garage apart.  A blend of cedar vertical siding, large timber framed decks, gives the exterior that cabin feeling, while mixing in the green hued siding to tie in the existing residence. Adding a mother-in-law suite helps clients recoup their building costs and add significant value to the property. Tongue and groove vaulted ceilings, inviting all in to stay and play a while. Currently under design.
